Imagine living without guilt and obsessive thoughts around food
It’s possible! And together we will make that your reality. The patterns you’ve built around food may feel like protection right now, but they’re also keeping you from living in line with what matters most to you. It’s okay to feel scared about letting go, and you don’t need to know the next step. You don’t have to figure it out alone.
Through one-on-one nutrition counseling, I partner with adults (18+) who are ready and motivated to take their first step toward recovery from eating disorders and disordered eating.
How I work
Weight-inclusive, HAES-aligned, and non-diet approach
I work from a weight-inclusive and Health at Every Size (HAES) lens. We focus on restoring physical health, nutrition rehabilitation, and rebuilding body trust, rather than chasing an external number.
I provide education and counseling from an intuitive eating framework. I’ll help you reconnect with your body’s own signals and move away from rigid food rules, diet culture messaging, and black-and-white thinking around eating.
Trauma-informed
I recognize that disordered eating often develops as a way of coping with difficult experiences. Healing needs to happen at a pace and in a way that feels safe for you.
You’ll always have agency in our sessions. I won’t push you faster than you’re ready to go, and I’ll check in regularly about what feels supportive versus overwhelming.
Neurodiversity-affirming
I honor each person’s unique way of thinking and existing in this world. Rather than trying to ’fix’ your natural way of being, my goal is to honor your autonomy and collaborate with you to support your sensory and emotional safety. I build on your individual strengths and reject forced masking or compliance-based interventions. I focus on strategies that let YOU shine as your authentic self.
Collaborative care
Collaborative care is best practice. In our first session, I’ll ask about the other providers on your care team, such as a therapist, physician, or psychiatrist.
