Working together
I see all patients via Telehealth. To use insurance for session coverage I see patients through Nourish.
Booking
Booking, scheduling, insurance, and co-payment (if required) all happen through Nourish. Select Schedule an Appointment to see my availability and get started. Nourish will verify insurance benefits before booking.
Please email me if you do not see availability that meets your scheduling needs.
Your first session
Our first session is about getting to know each other and starting to build a foundation of trust. You’re always in control of what you share and when. We’ll talk through:
- Your story. I’ll ask about your relationship with food and your body over time, at whatever depth feels comfortable to share right now.
- Current eating patterns. Not to judge or to fix you right away, but to understand where things stand and what feels hard right now.
- Your goals and values. What recovery or healing means to you, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together.
- Medical and treatment history. Including any other providers on your care team, such as a therapist, physician, or psychiatrist.
Insurance
I see clients through Nourish, which is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (including all state plans and associated plans such as Anthem, Wellmark, and UIHC plans), United Healthcare, Aetna, and Cigna. 94% of in-network patients pay $0 out of pocket. Medicare and Medicaid not accepted at this time.
Please email me if your insurance benefit screening is flagged as not approved. Occasionally a manual review by Nourish is required for authorization.
States served
I’m a licensed dietitian in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. I also see clients in additional states that don’t require state dietetic licensure: AZ, CA, CO, CT, HI, ID, IN, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OK, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY
When you’re ready, the next step is a first session on Nourish.
Please email me if you experience scheduling difficulties regarding insurance authorization and/or appointment availability.
